Where it all began:
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon. Growing up in a small town in Georgia, I learned the value of hard work and dedication early on. My ambition and discipline earned me a scholarship to DePauw University, followed by graduate school and law school.
The Path Less Traveled:
For 20 years, I followed the “expected” path. I became a successful lawyer, working tirelessly in the public interest sector. While the work was prestigious and offered financial security, something was missing. The long hours and limited time for family and personal pursuits left me unfulfilled.
Taking the Leap
So I leaped:
I craved more. After much deliberation, I boldly decided to leave my secure job and pursue entrepreneurship. This wasn’t a reckless gamble.
